Hi! I’m Heather!

I am a personal lines and life agent for Crawford-Henderson Insurance. I joined the Crawford-Henderson team in November of 2012. I obtained my Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in December of 2015 and my Life Insurance license in January of 2020. I enjoy having the opportunity to help people insure what is valuable to them, whether that be their home, car, boat, jewelry, or yes even their life.

I graduated from East Carolina University in July of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance. During my last year at ECU, I worked for a small insurance agency before the opportunity at Crawford-Henderson Insurance was presented. The opportunity at Crawford-Henderson Insurance was a perfect fit for me because I am able to work directly with my wonderful clients and to continue my insurance knowledge. It also allows me to work in Wayne County and be close to family.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time, I am an avid reader and tv watcher. I even named my dog, Arnie, after the Stephen King character in the book/movie Christine (which is the name of my car). Arnie was adopted from the Wayne County animal shelter and he is a boxer/lab mix. I also love walking the many NC trails with my husband, Ruel.
