John Henderson

John Henderson here.  I am semi-retired, a Vice President and mostly emphasize commercial lines insurance.  As the former owner, I have been with the agency for over fifty years.  What fun!

I am a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and have earned the designation of Certified Insurance counselor.  I am certified by several insurance company commercial lines schools and formerly taught boiler and machinery insurance and also loss of earnings insurance for our trade association’s education department.  My primary responsibility is to visit prospects/clients and assist them in planning protection of their physical assets.

Free time, anything with my grandchildren is wonderful!  I enjoy all events involving UNC Athletics.  My favorite reading subjects are American history and espionage.  I eat about anything but will jump on salmon and scallops.  I love my family and church, which keeps me focused on the really important aspects of life.
